The recipe that I am sharing below is great for dog’s who have bad breath. My dog ‘g breath happens to be terrible so I felt like it was a blessing when I found this with several other easy homemade dog treats recipes. This particular dog treat recipe is also wheat free so it’s great for dog’s with allergies. This recipe was actually used in one the dog cookbooks that I authored. These homemade dog treats actually look like little cookie when they are finished and my dog just loves them!
Bree’s Bad Breath Busters
2 cups brown rice flour
1 tbsp. activated charcoal (find this at drugstores)
3 tbsp. canola oil
1/2 cup chopped fresh mint
1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
2/3 cup water
Directions: Preheat oven to 400F. Lightly spray cookie sheet with nonstick cooking spray. Combine flour and charcoal. Add all other ingredients. Drop by teaspoonful on greased cookie sheet, about 1 inch apart. Bake 15 – 20 minutes. Cool and serve. Store in airtight container in refrigerator.
