easy dog biscuit recipes with baby food
We have a 7 month old baby at home so using baby food in our homemade dog treats is not an issue:) A lot of people don’t like using baby food because they feel that it contains too much salt, sugar or other harmful ingredients. I think that if the food is safe enough for a baby to eat then it’s fine for my dog. I actually use the organic baby food which is made with all organic ingredients so I’m not worried at all. Unless your dog has an allergy or some other type of health condition, using baby food to make a dog biscuit is fine. Just choose your baby food wisely.
2 cup rye flour
1 jar of baby food (vegetable flavor)
1/2 cup water
Directions: Preheat oven to 350 F. Pour the flour into a large mixing bowl. Add the baby food, the water and egg. Mix well until a dough form. Roll dough out into 1/2 thickness. Cut into desired shapes. bake in the oven for 20 minutes.
