My name is Jessica and I have been in the homemade dog treats business since 2006. Throughout the years I have gained quite a bit of experience when it comes to baking for dogs and I wish had a website like this when I first started out.
When I got started in the business there were more sites selling dog treats than teaching you about how to make them. Anyway… I look forward to sharing all of the tips and tricks that I’ve learned along the way and hope that you find all of the information here both useful and helpful!
I created my blog About Homemade Dog Treats, to go hand in hand with my dog bakery website… The Beggin’ Beagle Bakery, which was established in 2006. I am actually an elementary school teacher and I started my dog bakery right before my first son was born in 2007. Since then, I have had two more children and my business has grown by leaps and bounds. However, running a homemade dog treat bakery is very time consuming and unless you have employees helping you out… it’s hard to manage all on your own.
So, what I decided to do was hire a company to bake and decorate my treats and let the teacher in me take my business in a new direction. I originally created this website to help promote my business, but it has evolved into a business all on it’s own. (This is why you need a blog/website for your business… and I’ll create one for you for FREE!) I love helping dog lovers like yourself learn how to make homemade dog treats for their furry friends and become successful small business owners too!
I encourage you to browse through my website and utilize all of the information which includes free dog treats recipes and baking tips too. You can also receive more free homemade dog treats recipes by signing up for my newsletter. I’ll send you a copy of one of my very own dog cookbooks! It’s Free and Easy! You will get monthly tips and helpful info on how you can start your own dog treat business.
I’m giving away FREE websites to anyone who wants one:) It will very similar to this website and I’ll even teach you how you can customize it to make your own:)
